The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
