And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein 16 Moreover, there are two scribes, one each sitting on the right and the left, recording everything. 17 The human being will certainly experience the agony of death 18 And the agony of death cometh in truth. (And it is said unto him): This is that which thou wast wont to shun. 19 And the trumpet shall be blown; that is the day of the threatening. 20 Each soul shall come with a driver, and a witness. 21 You were heedless of this. Now We have removed your veil and so your vision today is sharp. 22 And his companions shall say: This is what is ready with me. 23 It will be said to the angels, “Both of you fling every excessive ungrateful, stubborn person into hell.” 24 forbidder of good, transgressor and doubter, 25 who set up with God another god; therefore, you twain, cast him into the terrible chastisement.' 26 ۞ His companion will say: Our Lord! I did not lead him into inordinacy but he himself was in a great error. 27 He saith: Contend not in My presence, when I had already proffered unto you the warning. 28 The Word will not be changed in My presence, nor am I an oppressor at all unto My bondmen. 29
