The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the snorting courses, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
