VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We have removed any resentments which were in their breasts – they are brothers, sitting face to face on thrones. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 and that My punishment is the painful chastisement. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 When they entered unto him, and said: Salaman (peace)! [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Indeed! We are afraid of you." 52 'Do not be afraid' they answered. 'We come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child' 53 He said, “Do you convey to me the glad tidings upon old age reaching me? So upon what do you convey glad tidings?” (* Prophet Ibrahim said this out of surprise.) 54 "We have given you the happy tidings of a truth," they replied. "So do not be one of those who despair." 55 He said, 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, excepting those that are astray?' 56 He said: And afterward what is your business, O ye messengers (of Allah)? 57 They said, "We are sent to a sinful people. 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
