Thus did We deliver the Children of Israel from the humiliating chastisement, 30 and from the Pharaoh. He was the chief of the transgressors. 31 And We chose them, purposely, above (all) creatures. 32 And granted them signs in which there was a plain trial. 33 Indeed, these [disbelievers] are saying, 34 'There is nothing except the first death, we shall never be revived. 35 So bring our fathers (back), if you are truthful. 36 Are they better, or the folk of Tubb'a and those before them? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty. 37 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, out of play. 38 We did not create them except in Truth. But most of them do not know. 39 The Day of Judgement is your promised day of meeting, 40 the Day when no friend shall be of the least avail to his friend, and when none shall be succoured 41 Except him on whom Allah has Mercy. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 42

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
