Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the loosed ones successively 1 And those that strike violently, 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 For a known term? 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 for the living and the dead? 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
