Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the morning brightness 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
