The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
