Thus did We deliver the Children of Israel from the humiliating chastisement, 30 From Fir'awn; verily he was haughty and of the extravagant. 31 and indeed, We chose them knowingly above all other people, 32 And gave signs to them in which there was a clear trial. 33 These people say, 34 there is nothing beyond our first death; we shall not be raised again. 35 Bring us our fathers, if you speak truly!' 36 Are they better, or the folk of Tubb'a and those before them? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty. 37 It was not in idle sport that We created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. 38 We did not create them both but with the truth, but most of them do not know. 39 Indeed, the Day of Judgement is the appointed time for them all - 40 The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped - 41 save those to whom God shows mercy. Surely, He is the Mighty, the Merciful One. 42
