The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever. 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what could make thee conceive what that crushing torment will be? 5 (It is) the fire of Allah, kindled, 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 Verily it will close in upon them, 8 in extended columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
