۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
