Indeed the place of success is for the pious. 31 Gardens and grapevines 32 and youthful maidens of like age, 33 And a pure cup. 34 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, nor any falsehood; 35 Recompense from thy Lord, a gift, (amply) sufficient, 36 Lord of the heavens and earth, and all that between them is, the All-merciful of whom they have no power to speak. 37 On that Day, when the Spirit (Gabriel) and the angels stand in ranks they shall not speak, except he to whom the Merciful has given permission, and says what is right. 38 That will be the Day of Ultimate Truth: whoever wills, then, let him take the path that leads towards his Sustainer! 39 Verily, We have warned you of a Penalty near, the Day when man will see (the deeds) which his hands have sent forth, and the Unbeliever will say, "Woe unto me! Would that I were (metre) dust!" 40
