When Moses said to his servant (Joshua): "I will not give up till I reach the confluence of two oceans, or I will journey on and on." 60 But when they reached the junction between the two [seas,] they forgot all about their fish, and it took its way into the sea and disappeared from sight. 61 And when the twain had passed by, he said unto his page: bring us our morning-meal, assuredly we have met from this journey of ours, toil 62 He replied: "Sawest thou (what happened) when we betook ourselves to the rock? I did indeed forget (about) the Fish: none but Satan made me forget to tell (you) about it: it took its course through the sea in a marvellous way!" 63 He said: This is that which we have been seeking. So they retraced their steps again. 64 And they found a servant from among Our servants to whom we had given mercy from us and had taught him from Us a [certain] knowledge. 65 Musa said to him: Shall I follow you on condition that you should teach me right knowledge of what you have been taught? 66 He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me! 67 And how can you have patience for what you do not encompass in knowledge?" 68 "You will find me patient if God wills," said Moses; "and I will not disobey you in any thing." 69 "If you must follow me," he said, "do not ask me any thing until I speak of it to you myself." 70
