Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 So make no haste against them, for We but count out to them a (limited) number (of days). 84 On the day that We shall muster the godfearing to the All-merciful with pomp 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Beneficent (Allah). 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 Indeed, [by this assertion] you have brought forth something monstrous, 89 The heavens are close to being torn apart by it, and the earth being split asunder, and the mountains succumbing and falling down. 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 It is not for the Merciful to take a son! 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 Assuredly He hath comprehended them and counted them a full counting. 94 And each one of them will come unto Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 To the righteously striving believers God will grant love. 96 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue that thou mayest bear good tidings thereby to the godfearing, and warn a people stubborn. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
