Hizb 46

And Jonah too was one of the Messengers. 139 When he fled on the laden ship, 140 Then lots were drawn and he became of those who were pushed into the sea. 141 then the whale swallowed him down, and he blameworthy. 142 And were he not one of those who praise. 143 he would certainly have remained inside the fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore in a state of sickness, 145 And We caused to grow, over him, a spreading plant of the gourd kind. 146 And [then] We sent him [once again] to [his people,] a hundred thousand [souls] or more: 147 And they came to believe; so We allowed them to enjoy the good things of life for an age. 148 Now ask them (O Muhammad): Hath thy Lord daughters whereas they have sons? 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Now surely it is of their own lie that they say: 151 'God has begotten a son.' They are certainly liars. 152 Hath He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement? 154 Will you then not take heed? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Bring your book if what you say is true. 157 And they have invented a blood-relationship between Him and the Jinns: but the Jinns know (quite well) that they have indeed to appear (before his Judgment-Seat)! 158 (They say): “Exalted be Allah above what they attribute to Him, 159 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 160 Therefore you and all what you worship. (The disbelievers and their deities.) 161 Can lead (any) into temptation concerning Allah, 162 Except such as are (themselves) going to the blazing Fire! 163 There is not one of us (angels) but has his known place (or position); 164 Verily, we (angels), we stand in rows for the prayers (as you Muslims stand in rows for your prayers); 165 And we are they who exalt (Allah)' 166 And there were those who said, 167 "If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples, 168 We would have been the chosen servants of Allah." 169 And yet, [now that this divine writ has been placed before them,] they refuse to acknowledge it as true! In time, however, they will come to know [what it was that they had rejected]: 170 And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers, 171 will certainly be victorious 172 And that certainly Our armies will be victorious. 173 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) awhile, 174 See them and soon they shall see. 175 So are they being impatient for Our punishment? 176 So when it does descend in their courtyards so what an evil morning it will be for those who were warned! 177 And leave them for a time. 178 And watch, for they will soon see. 179 LIMITLESS in His glory is thy Sustainer, the Lord of almightiness, [exalted] above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 180 And peace be upon all His message-bearers! 181 and all praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe. 182
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
