Allah is He Who made the cattle for you that you may ride on some of them, and some of them you eat. 79 You may also obtain other benefits from them. You may ride them to seek whatever you need or be carried by them as ships carry you by sea. 80 He shows you His signs. Now which of the signs of Allah do you disbelieve? 81 Have they not travelled through the earth and seen what was the end of those before them? They were more numerous than them and mightier in strength, and in the traces (they have left behind them) in the land, yet all that they used to earn availed them not. 82 So when their Noble Messengers came to them with clear signs, they remained happy over the worldly knowledge they possessed, and upon them only reverted what they used to mock at! 83 So when they saw Our punishment, they said: "We believe in Allah Alone and reject (all) that we used to associate with Him as (His) partners. 84 But their faith could not avail them when they saw Our doom. This is Allah's law which hath ever taken course for His bondmen. And then the disbelievers will be ruined. 85
