In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
BEHOLD. We sent Noah unto his people. [Saying:] "Warn thy people ere grievous suffering befall them! 1 He said: 'My nation, I am a clear warner for you. 2 that you should worship God [alone] and be conscious of Him. "Now do pay heed unto me, 3 "He (Allah) will forgive you of your sins and respite you to an appointed term. Verily, the term of Allah when it comes, cannot be delayed, if you but knew." 4 He said: “My Lord, I called my people by night and by day, 5 but my call has only caused them to flee farther and farther away [from Thee]. 6 And every time I called them so that You might forgive them, they thrust their fingers into their ears and wrapped up their faces with their garments and obstinately clung to their attitude, and waxed very proud. 7 Then surely I called to them aloud: 8 "Further I have spoken to them in public and secretly in private, 9 And I said: ask forgiveness of your Lord; verily He is ever Most Forgiving. 10 He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers 11 and will succour you with wealth and sons, and will appoint for you gardens, and will appoint for you rivers. 12 ‘What is the matter with you, that you do not desire honour from Allah?’ 13 Knowing that He has created you by various stages? 14 Do you not see how Allah has created the seven heavens, one above another, 15 And made the moon therein a [reflected] light and made the sun a burning lamp? 16 "'And God has caused you to grow out of the earth in [gradual] growth; and thereafter He will return you to it [in death]: 17 And afterward He maketh you return thereto, and He will bring you forth again, a (new) forthbringing. 18 ‘And it is Allah Who made the earth a bed for you.’ 19 so that you may tread its spacious paths.” 20

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
