Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 After this, He spread out the earth, 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
