The dwellers of the wood belied the sent ones. 176 When Shu'aib said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 177 I am a trustworthy messenger to you: 178 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me: 179 I do not ask any payment for my preaching. I shall receive my reward from the Lord of the Universe. 180 ۞ Give a full measure and be not of those who diminish; 181 “And weigh with a proper balance.” 182 Wrong not mankind in their goods, and do not evil, making mischief, in the earth. 183 "And fear Him Who created you and (who created) the generations before (you)" 184 They said, “You are under a magic spell.” 185 You are but a man like ourselves, and indeed, we think you are among the liars. 186 But in case you are speaking the truth, then make a segment of the sky to fall upon us." 187 He said: "My Lord knows best what ye do." 188 They rejected him, and then had to suffer the punishment of a day of overshadowing gloom. That was indeed the punishment of an awful day. 189 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 190 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 191
