And indeed We provided the Descendants of Israel a place of honour, and bestowed good sustenance to them; and they did not fall into dispute except after the knowledge had come to them; indeed your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning the matters in which they used to differ. 93 But if you are in doubt as to what We have revealed to you, ask those who read the Book before you; certainly the truth has come to you from your Lord, therefore you should not be of the disputers. 94 nor be of those who have called God's revelations lies lest you become lost. 95 Surely those against whom the word of your Lord has been fulfilled will not believed 96 Even if every sign should come to them, until they see the painful punishment. 97 Was there any town (community) that believed (after seeing the punishment), and its Faith (at that moment) saved it (from the punishment)? (The answer is none,) - except the people of Yunus (Jonah); when they believed, We removed from them the torment of disgrace in the life of the (present) world, and permitted them to enjoy for a while. 98 Had your Lord so willed, all those who are on the earth would have believed. Will you, then, force people into believing? 99 Are you going to compel the people to believe except by God's dispensation? He puts doubt in (the minds of) those who do not think. 100 Say: 'Behold what is in the heavens and in the earth!' But neither signs nor warnings avail a people who do not believe. 101 Can such, then, expect anything else [to befall them] but the like of the days of [calamity which befell] those [deniers of the truth] who passed away before them? Say: "Wait, then, [for what will happen] verily, I shall wait with you!" 102 Then (in the end) We save Our Messengers and those who believe! Thus it is incumbent upon Us to save the believers. 103
