The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the Occurrence occurs, 1 (and none denies its descending) 2 It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]. 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 And the mountains shall be made to crumble with (an awful) crumbling, 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 On that day, you (mankind) will be divided into three groups: 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 And those on the left – how (wretched) are those on the left! 9 And the foremost are the foremost, 10 They shall be near-stationed (to their Lord), 11 In gardens of tranquility; 12 A multitude of those of old 13 and a few from later times. 14 On couches in wrought with gold. 15 reclining upon them, set face to face, 16 Round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness), 17 carrying goblets and ewers and cups filled with the purest wine, 18 (no brows throbbing, no intoxication) 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 And the flesh of fowl such as they desire. 21 And pure, beautiful ones, 22 Like unto Pearls well-guarded. 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear any useless speech in it, or any sin. 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 The Companions of the Right Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 27 They shall be in the midst of thornless lote trees, 28 and serried acacias, 29 And extended shade, 30 And water poured out 31 and fruits in abundance, 32 never-ending and unrestricted, 33 And exalted thrones. 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 Then We have made them virgins, 36 Loving companions matched in age, 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
