52 verses, revealed in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The Inevitable Calamity! 1 What is the Inevitable? 2 Would that you knew (in detail) what the Inevitable is! 3 The Thamud and 'Ad denied the consequential calamity. 4 Thamood, they were destroyed by the violent shout (of Gabriel), 5 And as to Ad, they were destroyed by a roaring, violent blast. 6 Which Allah imposed on them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so that you could see men lying overthrown (destroyed), as if they were hollow trunks of date-palms! 7 Do you then see of them one remaining? 8 And Fir'awn and those before him and the overturned cities committed sin. 9 and rebelled against their Lord's Messenger. So He took them with a stern taking. 10 Lo, when the waters rose, We bore you in the running ship 11 That We might make it a remembrance for you, and the keen ear (person) may (hear and) understand it. 12 Then when the Horn is blown with one blast 13 and the earth and the mountains are carried aloft and are crushed to bits at one stroke, 14 on that Day shall that indubitable event come to pass; 15 And the sky will be rent asunder, for on that Day it will be so frail. 16 And the angels will be on its sides, and eight will, that Day, bear the Throne of thy Lord above them. 17 That Day shall you be brought to Judgement, not a secret of you will be hidden. 18 On that Day, he whose Record is given to him in his right hand will say: “Lo! Read my Record! 19 "I did really understand that my Account would (One Day) reach me!" 20 Then he shall find himself in a life of bliss; 21 in a lofty Garden, 22 Clusters whereof shall be near at hand. 23 'Eat and drink with wholesome appetite for that you did long ago, in the days gone by.' 24 And as for him who is given his book in his left hand he shall say: O would that my book had never been given me: 25 “And had never come to know my account!” 26 Oh! Would that the death that came to me in the world had made an end of me! 27 My wealth has been of no use to me. 28 my authority is gone from me.' 29 (It will be said): "Seize him and fetter him, 30 and then let him enter Hell. 31 Then fasten him with a chain seventy cubits long: 32 "This was he that would not believe in Allah Most High. 33 and did not feel any urge to feed the needy: 34 "So no friend hath he here this Day. 35 and no food except pus 36 Which none but sinners eat. 37

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
