The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heaven adorned with big stars. 1 and by the promised Day, 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 Accursed be the People of the Ditch! 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 And to that which they did to the believers were witnesses. 7 And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised, 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire. 10 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success. 11 Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Has the story of the armies reached you, 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)! 19 And Allah, all unseen, surroundeth them. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Qur'an. 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
