Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
