And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 By thy Lord, then, We shall surely gather them and the satans; thereafter We shall surely bring them round Hell, kneeling. 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 And certainly We know best those who are most worthy of being burned therein. 70 There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell); this is with your Lord; a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 And We will deliver those who guarded (against evil), and We will leave the unjust therein on their knees. 72 And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, those who disbelieve (the rich and strong among the pagans of Quraish who live a life of luxury) say to those who believe (the weak, poor companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW who have a hard life): "Which of the two groups (i.e. believers and disbelievers) is best in (point of) position and as regards station (place of council for consultation)." 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before these, who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance? 74 Say: As for him who remains in error, the Beneficent Allah will surely prolong his length of days, until they see what they were threatened with, either the punishment or the hour; then they shall know who is in more evil plight and weaker in forces 75 And Allah increases in guidance those who go aright; and ever-abiding good works are with your Lord best in recompense and best in yielding fruit. 76 Have you seen him who rejected Our signs and said: "Surely I shall continue to be favoured with riches and children." 77 Has he gained knowledge of the unseen, or made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall lengthen the length of his suffering [in the hereafter,] 79 and We shall inherit from him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 They have taken other gods apart from God that they might be a strength to them. 81 Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, and become opponents unto them. 82
