Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Hath there come unto thee tidings of the Overwhelming? 1 Faces on that Day shall be downcast, 2 toiling [under burdens of sin,] worn out [by fear,] 3 they shall burn in a Scorching Fire; 4 and will be made to drink from a boiling spring, 5 No food shall be theirs save bitter thorn, 6 Which neither give strength nor satisfy the hunger. 7 Some faces on that Day will be radiant, 8 Rejoicing over their efforts. 9 In an elevated garden, 10 wherein they shall hear no vain talk. 11 therein a running fountain, 12 And within it are couches placed on high, 13 And drinking-cups ready placed, 14 And cushions ranged 15 And carpets ready spread, 16 So do they not see the camel – how it has been created? 17 And at the sky - how it is raised? 18 And the hills, how they are set up? 19 And at the earth, how it is outspread? 20 (Muhammad), preach; you are only a preacher. 21 You are not a watcher over them; 22 Save the one who turns away and disbelieves 23 will be punished by God with the greatest punishment. 24 Indeed, to Us is their return. 25 and verily, It is for Us to call them to account. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
