3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And Noah verily prayed unto Us, and gracious was the Hearer of his prayer 75 We delivered him and his household from the great calamity; 76 And made his progeny to endure (on this earth); 77 And We left for him among the posterity. 78 Peace be on Nuh among the worlds. 79 Thus indeed do we reward those who do right. 80 Surely he was one of Our truly believing servants. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ And indeed Ibrahim is from his (Nooh’s) group. 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 When he said unto his father and his folk: What is it that ye worship? 85 Is it a falsehood - gods beside Allah - that ye desire? 86 "Then what do you think about the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists)?" 87 And he glanced a glance at the stars 88 and he said, 'Surely I am sick.' 89 So they turned away from him, and departed (for fear of the disease). 90 Then did he turn to their gods and said, "will ye not eat (of the offerings before you)?... 91 What is amiss with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then he attacked them, striking with his right hand. 93 So the people descended upon him. 94 He said: "Worship you that which you (yourselves) carve? 95 and God created you and what you make?' 96 They spoke among themselves: “Build him a pyre and then throw him into the furnace.” 97 But whereas they sought to do evil unto him, We [frustrated their designs, and thus] brought them low? 98 He said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me! 99 My Lord! Vouchsafe me of the righteous. 100 We gave him the good news that he would have a patient, forbearing son. 101 And when he attained the age of running with him, he said: O my son! verily I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering thee; so look, what considerest thou? He said: O my father! do that which thou art commanded; thou shalt find me, Allah willing, of the patients. 102 But as soon as the two had surrendered themselves to [what they thought to be] the will of God, and [Abraham] had laid him down on his face, 103 And We called out to him: "O Abraham! 104 you have confirmed your vision' As such We recompense the gooddoers. 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 108 Peace be on Abraham. 109 That is how We recompense the righteous: 110 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Is-haq, a prophet, and of the righteous. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac, and from their offspring are some gooddoers, and others who clearly wronged themselves. 113
