And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
