Al-Najm 3 of 3
Have you seen the one who turned away 33 who at first gave a little, then later held back? 34 Does he [claim to] have knowledge of something that is beyond the reach of human perception, so that he can see [it clearly]? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 And that it is He Who has created the two pairs, male and female? 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 That He hath promised a Second Creation (Raising of the Dead); 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 And that He (Allah) is the Lord of Sirius (the star which the pagan Arabs used to worship); 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 This is a warner from the warners of ancient times. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Does this statement seem strange to them 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
