In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 As justification or warning, 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier peoples? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.)! 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 Till an appointed term, 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 For the living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
