Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 Truly, you (O Muhammad SAW) are one of the Messengers, 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 You can warn only him who follows the Admonition and fears the Merciful Lord without seeing Him. Give such a one good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
