And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 I created the jinn and mankind only so that they might worship Me: 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
