And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away. 81 They carved out dwellings in the mountains, and lived in security -- 82 and so the blast [of Our punishment] overtook them at early morn, 83 and of no avail to them was all [the power] that they had acquired. 84 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them except with Truth. Surely the Hour will come. So, (O Muhammad), do graciously overlook them (despite their misdeeds). 85 Surely your Lord is the Creator and knows (everything). 86 We have indeed given you the seven oft-repeated (examples), and the majestic Qur'an. 87 Strain not thine eyes toward that which We cause some wedded pairs among them to enjoin, and be not grieved on their account, and lower thy wing (in tenderness) for the believers. 88 and say: "Behold, I am indeed the plain warner [promised by God]! 89 such as We send down for those who are divisive, 90 Those who break the Qur'an into parts. 91 So, by your Lord (O Muhammad SAW), We shall certainly call all of them to account. 92 for whatever they have done! 93 Proclaim then, what you are commanded and turn away from the unbelievers. 94 Indeed We suffice you against these mockers. 95 who set up another god with God, but they shall soon learn. 96 We certainly know that their statements sorely grieve you. 97 but extol thou thy Sustainer's limitless glory and praise Him, and be of those who prostrate themselves [before Him] in adoration, 98 And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the certainty (i.e. death). 99
