And man (the disbeliever) says: "When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 And so, by thy Sustainer, [on Judgment Day] We shall most certainly bring them forth together with the satanic forces [which impelled them in life] and then We shall most certainly gather them, on their knees, around hell; 68 from every party We will pluck out whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the Most Merciful. 69 And certainly We know best those who are most worthy of being burned therein. 70 There is not one of you who shall not go down to it: such is a thing decreed, determined by your Lord. 71 And We will deliver those who guarded (against evil), and We will leave the unjust therein on their knees. 72 AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: "Which of the two kinds of man is in a stronger position and superior as a community?" 73 And how many of the generations have We destroyed before them who were better in respect of goods and outward appearance! 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the Most Merciful prolong his life span until they see that which they were threatened, be it a punishment, or the Hour. Then shall they know whose is the worst place and who is weaker in hosts' 75 And Allah will increase the guidance for those who have received guidance; and good deeds that remain have the best reward before your Lord, and the best outcome. 76 Have you seen him who denies Our revelations, and says: "I will certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Has he, perchance, attained to a realm which is beyond the reach of a created being's perception? or has he concluded a covenant with the Most Gracious? 78 By no means! We shall write down all what he says; and We shall greatly prolong his chastisement, 79 All that he claims will revert to Us, and he will come before Us all alone. 80 And they have chosen Gods besides Allah, so that they may provide them strength! 81 But nay! [On Judgment Day] these [very objects of adoration] will disavow the worship that was paid to them, and will turn against those [who had worshipped them]! 82
