▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who fears to stand before his Lord are two gardens. 46 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 47 [two gardens] of many wondrous hues. 48 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 49 Therein are two running fountains. 50 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors would you then deny? 51 Wherein is every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 53 (The dwellers of Paradise) will recline on couches lined with silk brocade and it will be easy to reach the ripe fruits from the two gardens. 54 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 55 There will be bashful maidens untouched by mankind or jinn before. 56 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 57 lovely as rubies, beautiful as coral -- 58 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 59 The reward of goodness shall be nothing but goodness. 60 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 61 And besides those two will be yet two [other] gardens 62 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 63 two [gardens] of the deepest green. 64 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 65 In these there will also be two springs gushing forth. 66 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 67 Wherein is fruit, the date-palm and pomegranate. 68 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 69 In the midst of these will be maidens, good and comely. 70 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 71 [There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] 72 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 73 Untouched before them by man or jinni - 74 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 75 reclining upon green cushions and lovely druggets -- 76 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, full of majesty and beneficience. 78
