A multitude of those (on the Right Hand) will be from the first generation (who embraced Islam). 39 And a large group from the latter. 40 And those of the left hand, how wretched are those of the left hand! 41 Amidst scorching wind and scalding water. 42 And in the shades of Black Smoke: 43 neither cold nor graceful in shape. 44 and before that they lived at ease, 45 and persisted in the Great Sin, 46 They used to say: “What! Once we are dead and are reduced to dust and bones, shall we still be raised to a new life from the dead? 47 “And also our forefathers?” 48 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "(Yes) verily, those of old, and those of later times. 49 Are going to be assembled on the appointed time of a Day Known. 50 "Then will ye truly,- O ye that go wrong, and treat (Truth) as Falsehood!- 51 You will indeed eat from the Zaqqum tree. 52 "Then will ye fill your insides therewith, 53 And drink over it scalding water, 54 drinking it as thirsty camels do.” 55 Such shall be your hospitality on the Day of Recompense. 56 We have created you, why do you not then assent? 57 Just consider (the semen) that you emit, 58 Do you create a child out of it, or are We its creators? 59 We mete out death among you, and We are not to be outrun, 60 that We may exchange the likes of you, and make you to grow again in a fashion you know not. 61 You certainly knew about (your) first development. Why do you not take heed? 62 Have you ever considered the seed which you cast upon the soil? 63 Do you yourselves sow it, or are We the Sowers? 64 If We so wished, We could have reduced your harvest to rubble, and you would have been left wonder-struck to exclaim: 65 "We are ruined, 66 Surely, we have been deprived (of the benefits)". 67 Have you thought about the water you drink? 68 Is it you who sent it down from the clouds or is it We who have sent it down? 69 Did We will, We would make it bitter; so why are you not thankful? 70 Have you thought about the fire that you kindle. 71 Is it you who have brought into being the tree that serves as its fuel - or are We the cause of its coming into being? 72 It is We who have made it as a reminder and a means of comfort for the people. 73 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 74

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
