In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by the emissary winds, sent one after another (for men's benefit), 1 storming tempestuously 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 And those winds that bring down the remembrance. 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 for the living and the dead, 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 So like golden camels." 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
