The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 Would that you knew what the Clatterer is! 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
