And a sign to them is the dead earth: We give life to it and bring forth from it grain so they eat of it. 33 And We have made therein gardens of date-palms and grapes, and We have caused springs of water to gush forth therein. 34 that they might eat of its fruits. It was not their hands that made them. Will they not, then, give thanks? 35 Holy is He Who created all things in pairs, whether it be of what the earth produces, and of themselves, and of what they do not know. 36 And a sign for them is the night. We remove from it [the light of] day, so they are [left] in darkness. 37 While the sun keeps revolving in its orbit. This is the dispensation of the mighty, all-knowing (God). 38 And the moon -- We have determined it by stations, till it returns like an aged palm-bough. 39 It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They all float, each in an orbit. 40 And a Sign for them is that We bore their race (through the Flood) in the loaded Ark; 41 and We have created for them the like of it whereon they ride; 42 If it were Our will, We could drown them: then there would be no helper [to hear their cry], nor could they be saved. 43 Unless by mercy from Us, and as a comfort for a while. 44 When it is said to such people: “Guard yourselves against what is ahead of you and what has preceded you that mercy be shown to you” (they pay scant heed to it). 45 and whenever a revelation out of their Lord's revelations comes to them, they ignore it. 46 And when they are told, "Spend ye of (the bounties) with which Allah has provided you," the Unbelievers say to those who believe: "Shall we then feed those whom, if Allah had so willed, He would have fed, (Himself)? Ye are in nothing but manifest error." 47 They say: “When will this threat (of Resurrection) come to pass? Tell us if indeed you are truthful.” 48 They do not await except one blast which will seize them while they are disputing. 49 Then they will be unable to make a will, nor shall they return to their kinsmen. 50
