Therefore, remind and preach (mankind, O Muhammad SAW of Islamic Monotheism). By the Grace of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor a madman. 29 Or they allege, “He is a poet – we await a calamity of the times to befall him.” 30 Say (unto them): Except (your fill)! Lo! I am with you among the expectant. 31 Is it their minds that bid them [to take] this [attitude] - or are they [simply] people filled with overweening arrogance? 32 Do they say, "He has falsely invented it (the Quran)?" In fact, they themselves have no faith. 33 Then let them bring a discourse like it, if they speak truly. 34 Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay! they have no certainty. 36 Or have they the depositories [containing the provision] of your Lord? Or are they the controllers [of them]? 37 Or have they any stairway (unto heaven) by means of which they overhear (decrees). Then let their listener produce some warrant manifest! 38 Or hath He daughters whereas ye have sons? 39 Or askest thou them for a wage, and so they are weighed down with debt? 40 Or, is the Unseen in their keeping, so they are writing it down? 41 Seek they to lay a plot? Then those who disbelieve it is they who shall be plotted against. 42 Or have they a deity other than Allah? Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. 43 Even if they saw lumps falling from heaven, they would say, 'A massed cloud!' 44 Therefore leave them, until they confront their day, in which they will be stunned. 45 A Day whereon their plotting will avail them not at all, nor will they be succoured. 46 Truly, for those who do wrong there is a punishment besides that, though most of them do not know it. 47 And be patient upon your Lord’s command, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), for you are indeed in Our sight; and proclaim the Purity of your Lord while praising Him, whenever you stand. 48 Extol His glory at night, and at the setting of the stars. 49
