The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the crash? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 What will convey to you what this is like? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
