The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the angels who drag forth vehemently. 1 and those that draw out violently, 2 And by those who glide along (on errands of mercy), 3 By the angels hastening, 4 And by those angels who arrange to do the Commands of their Lord, (so verily, you disbelievers will be called to account). 5 One Day everything that can be in commotion will be in violent commotion, 6 followed by the succeeding, 7 hearts will undergo terrible trembling, 8 Their looks will be downcast. 9 They say, "What? shall we be brought back to life, 10 even after we are fragmented bones' 11 and they say, "That indeed would be a losing return." 12 So that is not but a single shout. 13 to bring them out of their graves and back to life on the earth's surface. 14 Has not there come to you the story of Musa? 15 When his Lord called him in the holy valley of Tuwa. 16 and directed him: “Go to Pharaoh, he has rebelled, 17 Then say: Have you (a desire) to purify yourself: 18 ‘And I may guide you to your Lord, so that you may fear.’” 19 Moses showed him the great sign, 20 Yet he belied and disobeyed. 21 Then he went back hastily. 22 then, he gathered, proclaimed, 23 then said: 'I am your lord, the most high' 24 So Allah seized him with the punishment of the hereafter and the former life. 25 surely there is in this a lesson for the God-fearing. 26
