The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe to every slanderer, defamer, 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 It shall be made into a vault over them, 8 In extended columns. 9

Almighty Allah's Truth.
