And it is He Who has created ears and eyes and hearts for you; very little is the right you acknowledge. 78 And He has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered back. 79 And He it is Who gives life and causes death, and (in) His (control) is the alternation of the night and the day; do you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they said the like of what the ancients said. 81 "When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be raised up again? 82 "Such things have been promised to us and to our fathers before! they are nothing but tales of the ancients!" 83 Say: "To whom belong the earth and all beings therein? (say) if ye know!" 84 [And they will reply: "Unto God." Say: "Will you not, then, bethink yourselves [of Him]?" 85 Say, "Who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will quickly say, "It is God." Say, "Will you not then have fear of Him?" 87 Say, "In whose hand is the realm of all things - and He protects while none can protect against Him - if you should know?" 88 They will say, "All this belongs to God." Say to them, "How are you then deluded?" 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, High Exalted be He above that they associate. 92
