Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the swift scatterers 1 and those that bear the burden [of the rain], 2 Then by oath of those which move with ease. 3 And those (angels) who distribute (provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allah's) Command; 4 surely that you are promised is true, 5 and surely the Doom is about to fall! 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 surely you are deeply at variance [as to what to believe] -- 8 Turned aside therefrom (i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Quran) is he who is turned aside (by the Decree and Preordainment of Allah). 9 Death to those whose opinions are merely baseless conjectures. 10 who flounder in the depths of ignorance. 11 They ask, "When it will be the Day of Judgment?" 12 (It is) the day on which they shall be tried at the fire. 13 (And told:) "Taste your punishment. This is what you were trying to hasten." 14 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs, 15 Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good. 16 They slept little in the night, 17 and would pray for forgiveness from their innermost hearts; 18 And in their substance was the right of the beggar and non-beggar. 19 And on the earth are signs for those who have Faith with certainty, 20 and also in yourselves. Can you not see? 21 And in heaven is [the source of] your sustenance [on earth] and [of] all that you are promised [for your life after death]: 22 So by oath of the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this Qur’an is the Truth, in the same language that you speak. 23
