And He it is Who brought forth for you hearing and sight and hearts, little thanks ye give! 78 It is He who scattered you in the earth, and to Him you shall be mustered. 79 He is the One who gives life and causes death and He controls the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Aye! they say the like of that which said the ancients. 81 They say: "When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be raised to life again? 82 We were promised such things and so were our forefathers before us. All these are no more than tales of the past." 83 Say, "To whom do the earth and all therein belong? Tell me, if you have any knowledge?" 84 They will surely say: "Allah's." Say: "Then why do you not take heed?" 85 Say: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne? 86 They will say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not then fear Allah (believe in His Oneness, obey Him, believe in the Resurrection and Recompense for each and every good or bad deed)." 87 Say: In Whose hand is the dominion over all things and He protecteth, while against Him there is no protection, if ye have knowledge? 88 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'How then are you bewitched? 89 No, We have brought the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others! Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to Him! 91 knowing all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind and hence, sublimely exalted is He above anything to which they may ascribe a share in His divinity! 92
