Alshu'araa' 6 of 11
The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
