In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Verily, We sent Nuh (Noah) to his people (Saying): "Warn your people before there comes to them a painful torment." 1 Noah said, "My people, I am warning you plainly. 2 that you serve Allah and fear Him, and follow me; 3 That He may forgive some of your sins and prolong your term till an appointed time. Surely when God's appointed time is come it will not be put off, if only you knew! 4 He said, "My Lord, indeed I invited my people [to truth] night and day. 5 but my call has only caused them to flee farther and farther away [from Thee]. 6 Each time I called them so that You might forgive them, they thrust their fingers in their ears and wrapped themselves in their garments, and persisted becoming very proud. 7 Then indeed I called them openly; 8 And lo! I have made public proclamation unto them, and I have appealed to them in private. 9 Then I said, Ask forgiveness of your Lord, surely He is the most Forgiving: 10 He will send the heaven upon you copiously; 11 And will help you with wealth and sons, and will assign unto you Gardens and will assign unto you rivers. 12 What ails you, that you look not for majesty in God, 13 seeing He created you by stages? 14 "Have you not seen that God has created the seven heavens one above the other 15 And has placed the moon therein, an illumination, and has placed the sun, a lighted lamp? 16 God produced you from the earth like a vegetable growth; 17 how He will then return you to it and bring you forth again, 18 And Allah has made for you the earth wide spread (an expanse). 19 That you may go along therein in wide paths. 20

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
