No, by the moon! 32 By the night when it departs. 33 And by the dawn when it brightens, 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 Warn the men. 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except those of the right hand 39 [dwelling] In gardens [of paradise,] they will inquire 40 From the guilty. 41 "What was it that brought you to Hell?" 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 until the inevitable event overtook us.” 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Aye! every one of them desireth that: he should be vouchsafed scrolls expanded. 52 Nay! But they fear not the Hereafter (from Allah's punishment). 53 By no means! Verily this Qur'an is an admonition. 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
