The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter, 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Which will climb on to the hearts. 7 Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them 8 in its long columns of flames. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
